Durian lovers in China can order the King of Fruits via Taobao, the Chinese version of eBay, Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported.
However, it will be an expensive affair if they wish to shop for the fruit online, as the sellers are charging between 160 yuan (about USD 26) and 272 yuan (about USD 44) for just 500gm of the Musang King variety.
They can also opt to buy the fruit at shopping centres, where the price is about 138 yuan (USD 23) per kilogram.
In Malaysia, the price of Musang King is about RM50 (USD 60) per kilogram.
The daily also reported that a 28-year-old man was forced to strip and have his nude pictures taken by a group of thugs who abducted him at a shopping centre in Penang.
In the incident last week, the victim was beaten up by his abductors, who threatened to upload his naked images online unless he paid them RM72,000 (USD 22,480).
The group then released the victim, who quickly lodged a police report.
In another kidnap case, China Press reported that a group of 10 men kidnapped a foreign worker who was having a drink at a mamak stall and demanded a ransom of RM20,000 (USD 6,245) from his employer.
However, two of the kidnappers carelessly dropped their passports, which helped police to trace them.
Two days after the 26-year-old victim was kidnapped at around 9.30pm on May 27, the police managed to nab six of the abductors, all foreigners.
When they heard their accomplices had been caught, the other four kidnappers, all locals, freed the victim in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, on May 30.
