The ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (ICAR-IIHR), Bengaluru, is gearing up to host an event that promises to unearth the hidden potential of exotic and lesser-known underutilized horticultural crops. The highly anticipated International Seminar on “Exotic and Underutilized Horticultural Crops” is scheduled to take place from October 17 to 19, 2023, at the ICAR-IIHR Hesaraghatta campus in Bengaluru.
This collaborative endeavour between ICAR-IIHR and the Society for Promotion of Horticulture, Bengaluru, is positioned to illuminate the largely unexplored realm of exotic and underutilized horticultural crops. In the face of global agricultural challenges, including food security and climate change, this seminar aims to provide a vibrant platform for researchers, scientists and horticulture enthusiasts to pool their insights, innovations, and sustainable solutions.

- Bio-conservation and New Dimensions in Breeding of Horticultural Crops
