The International Tropical Fruits Network (TFNet), is proud to announce our new co-organizers for the 2021 International Symposium on Tropical Fruits (ISTF2021) to be held on 28-30 September 2021 via Zoom. Our co-organizers and partners are research institutes, international organizations, networks, and publishers that work on tropical fruits.

Co-organizers

  1. MARDI
    The Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) was established with the primary objective of generating and promoting new, appropriate and efficient technologies for the advancement of the food, agriculture and agro -based industries. MARDI is managed and guided in accordance with the policies and regulations decided by the MARDI Governing Board with the consent of the Minister of Agriculture and Agro -based Industry.
  2. ITFRI
    The Indonesian Fruits Research Institute (ITFRI) is one of the technical implementation units on R&D under the coordination of Indonesian Center for Horticulture Research and Development (ICHORD). The main task of ITFRI is to conduct research on tropical fruits.
  3. GDAAS
    The Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GDAAS) is an agricultural research organization directly regulated by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province. Under GDAAS, the Fruit Tree Research Institute is dedicated to research that aims to sustain the fruit industry in Guangdong province. Priorities of FTRI’s activities have been given to conservation of tropical and subtropical fruit germplasms, development of new cultivars, and improvement of growing techniques.
  4. AARDO
    The African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) is devoted to develop understanding among members for better appreciation of each others’ problems and to explore, collectively, opportunities for coordination of efforts for promoting welfare and eradication of thirst, hunger, illiteracy, disease and poverty amongst rural people.
  5. CABI
    CABI is an international, inter-governmental, not-for-profit organization that improves people’s lives worldwide by providing information and applying scientific expertise to solve problems in agriculture and the environment.
