The northern province of Phayao is planing to hold its annual event to promote its local agriculture and craft products.
The event, dubbed “Lychee and other best things of Phayao” will be held between 16 to 25 of May in an open field adjacent to Phayao’s main transport terminal.
During the meeting on Saturday, deputy governor Nimit Wanchaithanawong said the province expected to see close to 10,000 tons of lychee this year. The event is aimed at promoting the fruit and helping farmers sell them.
The event will feature a colorful parade, a corner where visitor can taste lychee at no charge, assorted lychee products, and OTOP booths.
